No, nobody hacked his page and posted "WE RAIDED YOU LOL!" all over it, but he did spend a good amount of time--starting at 8 PM, according to Hal, to whenever he posted his "Special Live Report"--buggering himself to the thought of raiders so much that he thought to use PGP encryption for messages between "strike groups."
The "infiltration" act, the misdirection, the laughing, scornful photos that've been uploaded directly to his site (and of which, I'm fairly certain, some are being used for bandwidth leeching); the plan, aside from actually showing up at Hal's house, was apparently not to be there to raid. It was the panicked feeling, the preparation Hal went through, the coordination. PGP encryption, strike plan revision, "infiltration;" Christ, we all surely lost a heavy part of us today. I mean, sure, most Anonymous were probably dicking around on the Internets at the time all of this started coming together, but think of it: a bunch of random, relatively unknown strangers came together over the course of a few months to fuck with one asshole's head, and the result of it all?
A bunch of people having a good laugh, on both sides. Both think they're right and they've won, but either way, Internets or Reality, we're all pretty fucked up for bringing it to this point. Congratulations, everyone. We officially have no lives.
